Caernarfon 47 Llandudno 12

With the Cofis not having played last week due to a frozen pitch, and Llandudno having lost their last 2 league games, and following a bout of heavy rain, the sun was now shining on the Morfa, and the home fans were expecting an entertaining match.
It was the visitors who made the better start with play entirely within the home half, however when the Cofis eventually gained possession they soon found themselves pressing the visitor try line and it was Adam Thomas who broke through to score the 1st try which Dom Yau converted. With the Cofis now in control with the ball being spread from one wing to another it was a barnstorming charge up the middle by number  8 Mac Jones to cross for the next try, with Yau converting to make the score 14-0.
With Tudno losing a prop due to a head injury, the scrums were now passive.
Carwyn Roberts at outside half continued to pin the visitors in their own 22 with some sound touch kicking. Next to score was captain and lively winger Iolo Hughes to make it 19-0.  Another injury to a Tudno player and they were down to 14, and following good interplay between both forwards and backs it was Rhys Evans who came on as a replacement for the injured Dylan Gwyn, was next to score the bonus point try which Yau converted 26-0. Utility forward Rhobat John scored the next try following some fine  offloading and passing, which Yau converted to make the half time score 33-0.
With the Cofis now playing down the field and with replacements Tomos Jones and Darren Jones in the front row and Aled Jones at fullback introduced early in the second half the home crowd were expecting another glut of scores. However it was Llandudno to their credit who scored the first try of the half with captain Morgan Owen scoring, and they had much of the play for the best part of the half, however the Cofis did manage to score another 2 tries, a 2nd for Iolo Huws and 1 by Mike Downey, Aled Jones converting both. However it was the visitors who were to score the final try courtesy of Ed Weston, converted by Tom Hocknell.
Next Saturday the Cofis are home again versus Rhuthun, prior to commencement of the 6 Nations
